Karmah Trading & Services (KTS), founded in 2004 and headquartered in Doha, Qatar, is the country’s leading provider of acoustic solutions, building finishing materials, sports flooring, equestrian supplies, mechanical drainage systems, and solar energy solutions. With six operational divisions and the distinction of being Qatar’s only locally manufacturing acoustic panel studio, KTS has earned the trust of architects, interior designers, contractors, and facility managers across every sector of Qatar’s built environment.

The KTS Story — Two Decades of Building Qatar

The KTS story begins in 2004, when Doha was at the early stages of a transformation that would make it one of the most dynamic cities in the Middle East. Qatar’s ambitious infrastructure programme — driven by the National Vision 2030 — demanded world-class building materials and solutions delivered on schedules that international suppliers struggled to meet. KTS was established to bridge that gap: a Doha-based company with the technical expertise, product range, and local manufacturing capability to serve Qatar’s fastest-growing sectors.

In our earliest years, KTS focused on trading building finishing materials — flooring, wall coverings, and interior products sourced from leading international manufacturers. We built relationships with European and Asian factories, established a climate-controlled warehouse in Doha, and developed a reputation for delivering quality products with the responsive service that Qatar’s fast-paced construction market required.

The turning point came in 2008 with the launch of KTS Acoustic Studio — Qatar’s first and only local acoustic panel manufacturing facility. Rather than simply importing acoustic panels from overseas (with lead times of six to eight weeks, minimum order quantities, and limited customization), KTS invested in manufacturing equipment, acoustic engineering expertise, and quality management systems to produce world-class acoustic panels right here in Doha. This decision transformed KTS from a trading company into a manufacturer, and it remains our most significant competitive advantage.

Since 2008, KTS Acoustic Studio has manufactured and installed acoustic solutions in hundreds of projects across Qatar — corporate offices in West Bay, five-star hotels on The Pearl, international schools in Lusail, mosques throughout Doha, recording studios, home theatres, hospitals, and government buildings. Every panel is produced at our Doha facility with lead times of just 10 to 14 working days, in any size, shape, fabric, or print the project requires.

As Qatar’s needs evolved, so did KTS. We added a Sports Division in 2015 to supply rubber flooring, sports surfaces, playground equipment, and gym solutions. Our Equestrian Division provides stable flooring and equine facility products. The Solar Division supplies autonomous street lighting and renewable energy systems. The Mechanical Drainage Division provides channel drainage and manhole cover solutions for infrastructure projects. Across all six divisions, the KTS philosophy remains constant: quality products, local expertise, and an unwavering commitment to client satisfaction.

Today, KTS holds three ISO certifications — ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety) — and employs a team of over 50 professionals in Doha.
