Acoustic ceiling panels, also known as ceiling clouds, baffles, or suspended absorbers, work by intercepting sound waves before they reflect off hard ceiling surfaces. This is particularly effective in open-plan offices throughout Doha's West Bay and Lusail districts, where exposed concrete soffits and glass partitions create highly reverberant environments. KTS ceiling panels reduce reverberation time by absorbing mid- and high-frequency sound energy, improving speech intelligibility and occupant comfort.
Our ceiling panels are manufactured at our Doha facility using the same high-density fiberglass core as our wall panels (64 kg/m³), achieving NRC values between 0.85 and 1.05. The panels are available in three formats: flat ceiling clouds suspended on aircraft cables, vertical baffles for linear visual effect, and direct-mount tiles for standard grid ceilings. Every format can be fabric-wrapped in over 200 colours and textures or finished with a painted micro-perforated MDF face for a clean, modern look.
Quality is assured through our ISO 9001:2015 certified production process. Each panel is CNC-cut to precise dimensions (tolerance ± 1 mm), and fabric wrapping is performed by trained technicians using pneumatic stretching frames to ensure wrinkle-free finishes. Fire performance meets ASTM E84 Class A requirements, with Flame Spread Index ≤ 25, satisfying Qatar Civil Defence regulations for suspended ceiling elements.
The suspension system uses stainless steel aircraft cables with adjustable height fittings, allowing panels to be positioned at the optimal distance from the structural ceiling for maximum absorption. For grid ceiling installations, our panels are designed to fit standard 600×600 mm and 600×1200 mm T-bar systems.
