Our automatic horse feeders are programmable electronic systems that dispense predetermined amounts of concentrate feed at set times throughout the day. Each feeder holds up to 15 kg of feed and can be programmed for 1 to 8 feeding events per 24 hours. The feeding schedule is set via a digital control panel, and a low-battery alarm ensures uninterrupted operation. Automatic feeders are particularly valuable in Qatar's large racing stables where 50 or more horses must receive precise, timed nutrition without reliance on staff being present at feeding time.
Manual corner mangers are manufactured from heavy-gauge galvanized steel with a powder-coated finish to prevent corrosion in the humid stable environment. Rounded internal corners prevent feed accumulation and bacterial growth, and drain holes allow wash-down cleaning. Corner mangers mount to the stable wall at adjustable heights to suit individual horses.
Hay racks slow down hay consumption, promoting natural grazing behaviour and reducing the risk of colic, a leading cause of equine mortality. KTS supplies wall-mounted hay racks in galvanized steel with adjustable mesh openings that control the rate of hay access. For outdoor paddocks, we provide standing hay feeders with weather covers that protect hay from Qatar's occasional rainfall and wind-blown sand.
Water drinkers include push-valve automatic drinkers that provide fresh water on demand, and heated drinkers for the winter months when ambient temperatures can drop low enough to discourage water intake. All drinkers are manufactured from stainless steel (316 grade) for hygiene and longevity.
