Karmah Trading & Services (KTS), serving Qatar's equestrian industry from Doha since 2004, supplies Stable Wall Protection systems designed to protect both the structural walls of horse stalls and the horses themselves from impact injuries. Our wall protection products are installed in racing stables, breeding farms, riding schools, veterinary hospitals, and private equestrian estates across Qatar.
Horses naturally kick, bite, and lean against stable walls, and in Qatar's high-value equestrian sector — where thoroughbred racehorses and purebred Arabians are worth hundreds of thousands of riyals — protecting both the animal and the infrastructure is essential. Unprotected concrete or block walls absorb impact energy poorly, leading to cracked walls, exposed rebar, and horse injuries including capped hocks, splints, and soft tissue damage.
KTS Stable Wall Protection Panels are manufactured from high-density HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) at 20 mm and 30 mm thicknesses. HDPE is virtually indestructible in equestrian applications — it does not crack, splinter, rot, or absorb moisture. The smooth, non-porous surface is easy to clean with pressure washers and does not harbour bacteria or fungi, contributing to a hygienic stable environment.
For maximum impact absorption, we offer rubber-backed wall panels that combine a 15 mm HDPE face with a 20 mm recycled rubber cushion layer. This composite construction absorbs kick energy, reducing the peak force transferred to both the wall structure and the horse's limb. Rubber-backed panels are recommended for stalls housing young, nervous, or particularly valuable horses.
Our wall protection panels are available in standard sheets of 1220×2440 mm and 1220×3050 mm, with custom cutting for non-standard stall dimensions. Panels are fixed to the wall using stainless steel coach screws and plastic spacers that create a drainage gap behind the panel, preventing moisture accumulation on the wall surface. The panels are typically installed from floor level to a height of 1.5 m, covering the kick zone.
Colour options include black, grey, green, and natural (off-white). For premium installations, KTS can supply panels with stable name/number engravings or owner logos.
